If only everyone did a little dance cardiio before they began their day, the world would be a better place. #endorphins #musicmakesthehearthappy #shakeyourbootie
Just sent this photo to someone who was a major influence in my rebirth. Sometimes we just need THAT person who makes us feel the impossible is possible.
I've only met him a couple of times but he was my virtual trainer and helped me realize that aging really IS for Idiots. #thankstony
He happens to be my age - actually I think he is a few months older! It definitely helps when you can identify with some who is relatable. When I found out he was my age, it made me feel like: "Then why not me?!?!"
So go find YOUR person - that person who will make you believe anything is possible.
One thing I used to always love to do was take my kids to the grocery store. In fact I loved taking my kids EVERYWHERE.
I never understood why other moms would want to run errands alone. Guess I'm weird like that but life was always more fun with them around me.
So venturing off to the store with 2 of my 3 grandkids to pick up all the grub for yesterday's party was a blast!!!
I even navigated the Macdaddy of shopping carts! We only crashed twice!!!
I might be 2 pumpkin muffins poorer but so much richer for the experience!
I know some people may not understand why I am in tears seeing Justify win the Triple Crown....
Do you have any idea how AMAZING that is?!?! TWICE IN 40 years!
I am an animal lover. I am especially a horse lover. I used to own one. I used to ride every day. I loved riding. It was such a passion of mine.
I've been thinking about starting again. It's been in my mind since last summer when I took my granddaughter to her first riding lesson.
I think it's time. No more just thinking! I'm going to call tomorrow and get started.
If it makes you cry, DO IT, right?
Thank you Justify, for reigniting a long idle passion.
So excited about my new porch carpet!!!! And I'm impressed my husband picked it out!
THIS is what I did on my lunch hour today... Hot date at Lowe's!
He realized the gray in the carpet's border would match our floor. But look how it brings the beige color in the cushions together with the gray in the floor.
I would have never picked this one out because I'm not big on gray but once he pointed it out, I thought it was worth a shot.
I'm ecstatic!!!! It couldn't be more perfect! I just want to sit and look at it...
When I get home, I’m always like.... why didn’t I take more pictures?!?! Do you do that too?
I guess it’s good that we focused on quality time together and stayed off social media for the most part... (not having internet did help!)
Except for a couple of silly videos you can find on my Facebook story!!!
I did manage to catch a few great shots of the littlest man who made my weekend even better... Such a fun guy with the best disposition! Even though he kept me awake from 1:15-2:45am!!!!
I've been WAITING & WAITING to be able to tell the world about this VERY BIG NEWS!!!
Grandchild #4 is on its way!!!!!
My youngest daughter just entered her 2nd trimester!!!
This is the first official, professional interview I've ever done, and man, was it fun!!!!
I even stopped to smell the roses!
I got to share what Marketing Impact Academy has done for me as an online entrepreneur over the past 12 months.
The last 3 days have been nothing short of incredible. Most of us were in tears as the conference closed because of the power of the message that Chalene Johnson shared with us...
"Things happen FOR us, not TO us."
And it is our responsibility - each of our's purpose - to help others figure out what we already have, through our experiences. That is how we can best serve.
And THAT is what I intend to devote myself to doing!!!
My house is officially back to its non-Christmas self!!! I finally got my Christmas village put away!
As I was packing it up, I got to thinking about my beautiful buffet table and how it's one of my favorite pieces of furniture. And how I almost lost it....
You see, after my divorce I had to have an estate sale and put almost everything I owned up for sale. I tried to sell this but no one would pay the dirt cheap price I was offering for it...
So I kept it!
And when I look at it, I always think: you were meant to be with me, to see me through bad times and good.
And I smile.
Isn't it funny how things have a way of working out?
I'm so thankful it's still here. If it wasn't, I don't know where I'd put my Christmas village!
